THAT'S SHOREBREAK, my friends, notes from The Watt

Paddled around for about an hour or so.  Made a few attempts pulling back as the sand loomed large.  No need to walk away with my board in two pieces.  Nice night, crowded beach, empty lineup (speaks volumes don't cha think?).
Hard Landing - 6/29

Since we hit the beach on a Wednesday this week, Wixy was AWOL, so the Target Man and I decided to continue our quest for Wings equal to the task of our high standards (yeah, ok).  At my son's recommendation we dropped in on Mother's Cantina lining 26th and Coastal.  Another locals favorite with south of the border deco and reggae boomin'.  Perfect!

Mom's home cookin!
Ok, ok, ok...Opening with a couple of dos Equis, we ordered the mediums (which according to our barkeep was like everyone else's hot) and chipotle BBQs.  In my opinion...a close wing to wing match to McGees, HT however felt they were on the small side.  Both of us agreed they tasted excellent.  If not for the service (slooooow), we may have had a very close winner...maybe a 2nd flyby would prove worthy.  Still, Mother's is definitely the next best wing so far.  We shall continue to carve inroads thru the shore on our search.

                   Until next time...

STAY THIRSTY, my friends.
