Recrudescence, the Watt's notes.

"Drive until the map turns blue," -B. Paisley.  49th Street backside spray, 4/2/2017.

It's official. Myself and my wife are returning to the Eastern Shore. More over to the shore. I have re-secured employment and we have found us our new home. Our trip this time around put us through the real estate grinder, but the chosen one has been marked and contracted. Course, we gotta go through all the bureaucracy and paperwork. But, preparations are in the works.
Water's still in the 40's. No chance for a sesh this time around. Doesn't mean ya don't check conditions. Semi- clean left handers. Some sectioned. Some blown. Waist plus. Weather was partly sunny; upper 50's, low 60's. Nice. That'll work. Season's coming. Scheduling in the midst. Looking forward to a May start for the Crew. Boards to wax. Waves to carve. The Target has his eye on establishments to assess. Some may have seen our scarcity as a respite. Others opened and closed without facing what may have been a future foretold. No more. An active summer for 2017 in planning.
Speaking of the Target, he was indisposed over this last period. The Wife and I forced to evaluate on our own. After an arduous day in pursuit of the perfect beach home, we headed out to West Fenwick to the Crabcake Factory on Route 54. A former stop for the Crew. Stepping up just in time for sunset. Waisted no time putting our drink orders in. Myself a cold draft. She a Key Lime Crush. Not even in season yet and serving in plastic. Food next. I could say the Mrs. still needs to be taught the finer points of our rating criteria, however she can be a bit critical at times. Certainly not like HT. Still, when the wings came out breaded she did not hesitate to point out the faux pas. Also had their famous Crabcake. I will say, not the best but very good (coulda been the empty stomach talkin'). Overall, a needed refueling. However, this place obviously has the tourists in mind. Lower end food with higher end prices. Even at this point of the shoulder season. Good thing Hard Target was absent. If the ratings has been official?... sad times here my friends. The time for breaks and half measures are over. The recrudescence (look it up) of the Crew is at hand.
No rating this time around...as luck would have it.
